December 2011 - IT’S COMPETITION TIME AGAIN!!! -CLOSED! - and the winner is...

Ok time for a new SigTag competition. This month it’s all about Christmas. I just had this years Christmas  packages released via CDO, 3 packages in total, plus a free tube, making it a total of 10 images! And therefore it’s any of these new tubes that will create the basis of this new competition:

I love Christmas and therefore I am very excited about this competition and about the release of these tube packages. That’s why I felt that it’s time to have another competition. I always love doing these and what better time than to celebrate the festive season.

So, here’re the details. You can enter as many times as you want and use one or more of the tubes from these packages, or the free tube, in your tag. You can stick with the Christmas theme, which will definitely give you extra kudos, but you can also go for something completely unrelated if you find something that works better for you, winter, Yule... the choice is yours. There are no rules other than that you have to use the tubes from these packages (or the free tube), of course you can also just get the individual tubes. The competition will start right now and runs up to Boxing Day (26th Dec), if however you have done this months tube shopping already and would miss out, then let me know asap and I will hold the judging of the winning tag for a few extra days to give you a chance to get your entry in. Simply let me know how much longer you’d approximately need and I shall be happy to adjust the timing slightly. And just like last time, you can even enter Blinkies!

You can post your entries on facebook or twitter, just make sure you tag me if you do. Or you can post it on any of the forums I am a member off, just let me know where you're posting it so I know where to find it. Alternatively you can email me your entries at info@fredwinkler.co.uk with the subject line “SigTag Competition”.

The winner will get something very special! You’ll receive an exclusive tube!!! What does that mean? It means I will be creating an excusive tube, where we (the winner and myself), will come up with a theme and details for a tube that won’t be for sale. Of course the prints will be, but it won’t be available for other taggers and only to the winner of this competition for at least the next 6 months. And if that’s not enough, you’ll also get 3 prints that you can pick yourself. So you’ll get an exclusive tube as well as 3 prints to hang on your wall.

AND THE WINNER IS.....

It’s time for the results of the Christmas Signature Tag competition! As always there were so many amazing entries this month so it was very hard to pick a winner because the standard is so high. I loved how there were so many different styles and interpretations it was very exciting to go through them all. The design I chose this time is one that has a classic winter feel to it, very calm and just perfect I felt. So, the winner is Gwenda with this awesome Holiday themed tag. Thanks to everyone who entered the competition. It’s great to see the different styles and techniques used. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them all and imagining you all busily creating those magical tags. And because Dee-Gee Creations are giving a runner up price I have decided to give that title to the lovely Kate for her very magical Christmas Tag.
